The essence of blog commenting isn't just about getting attention. It works both ways especially for Canadian Search Engine Marketing. You get your blogs read and someone else's site up. Fair deal.

A comment can't be Written as visit me at bannana.com.People write a comment because they are interested in the topic of the post as Matti said.I get few comments because my content is not so good but I am learning even though I have few comments I deleted some because they were spammy. These spam comments are an insult to the Blogger and many read them as they are and skip over them. But if these Spam comments are at the top of the list it can damage the chances of the reader reading the comments in the first place.

I think commenting is as at least as much about content as being at any particular position on the comments list. If you have something interesting to say, people will take the time to read it, just as they did the original post, provided it's related to what they wanted to know.
If it's obviously spammy or banal, it's gonna get skipped, and the more commenters do that, the more people are going to pay attention to the person who's actually taken the time to think about their comment. So if you want to be obvious and banal, it might actually help the rest of us, to your own detriment. You might be high up on the comments list, but it's the useful content that gets read, re-read and remembered, just like a face to face conversation.
