If you’ve read any of my previous posts here, you know I’m a big fan of WordPress as a publishing platform and content management system. One of the biggest reasons I’m so fond of it is its ease of use for the end user. You don’t have to be a “tech” person to write and publish, and most people can use it pretty well after a very short time playing with it.
Unbelievably, things are getting even easier.
Automattic has launched WordPress.tv, which features how to videos on everything WordPress. Ok, maybe not everything just yet, but they’re working on it.
Because I know there is at least one person who wants to do this, check out this easy to follow video they’ve produced on displaying Flickr photos in your sidebar.
I’m elated to see this go live, even though it means fewer posts I can write. Now my standard response is likely to be, “Go check out this video.” Still, this should go a long way in helping people who need a little bridge to help them over the technology gap into online publishing.
